One thing I learned in over 10 years of my job is to never spend hardly earned money on your wedding day, because at the end of the day it's just a day where you spent "$10000" and only thing you have from that are your photo memories, that's it.
In my opinion, you should never spend more than $5k on our wedding day, including photographers, dress, beauty treatments and honeymoon. You can arrange everything with $5000 if you start preparing soon enough.
For example if you start searching on https://www.groupon.com you can start finding nail treatment coupons, hair style coupons, teeth whitening coupons, and hooneymoon coupons, and you can save over $200 on your hair and nails job, over $500 on your honeymoon, over $100 on teeth...
One more thing you should consider is not spending more than $200 on your wedding dress because you will wear it for few hours only, and you can save tons of money on it.
For example if you are looking for some nice designer gown you will find some nice models for $2000-4000, and if you visit Amazon or if you use Google you can find exact same dresses for less than $200.

One more thing where you can save some money is wedding photography, everyone is looking for photographers in some popular agency or in some huge photo company, but they are the most expensive ones. You should search for your photographer in small photography facebook groups in your city or your country, you can find them on craiglist or on some online freelance boards.
